LoopCV Alternatives: LoopCV vs Applyinator (2026)
Comparing LoopCV alternatives? What LoopCV does, its free plan and 2026 pricing, where it shines, and how Applyinator takes a different approach.
LoopCV is an auto-apply platform based in Thessaloniki, Greece. You upload your CV, set your job preferences, and it searches job boards, matches roles to your CV and applies on your behalf, including by emailing recruiters. It is one of the few tools in this category with a free plan, which is a big reason people try it first.
People search for "LoopCV alternatives" for different reasons: they want a different kind of coverage, more control over answers, or a tool that handles company portals such as Workday. This post compares LoopCV with Applyinator, the tool we build, as fairly as we can. Facts about LoopCV come from its own website as we read it in October 2026.
What LoopCV does
From LoopCV's own pages:
- Automatic applying. After you upload a CV and choose preferences, LoopCV finds relevant roles and submits applications under your name. Its FAQ describes using automated emails to recruiters "and several other methods", including filling application forms with AI.
- Job board coverage. LoopCV says it scans 30+ job boards daily, and it also advertises a job aggregator that covers job boards and career pages. It does not name the specific boards on the pages we read.
- Recruiter emails. It offers email templates (or your own text) and an email finder for reaching recruiters, plus follow-up emails.
- A/B testing CVs. You can upload several CVs and see which one performs better, which is a genuinely unusual feature.
- Browser extension. The Loopcv Apply Tool, a Chrome extension, applies from your browser on boards that require a login. LoopCV says it does this without asking for your username or password. Its feature list also includes a LinkedIn apply extension, though we did not find a detailed description of how it works.
- Extras. It lists an AI CV checker, CV builder, cover letter generator, mock interviews, company exclusions and an application tracker.
LoopCV pricing (as of October 2026)
LoopCV's pricing page says:
- Free plan: free forever, no credit card required. It includes automated applications on supported job boards, CV matching and the dashboard. The FAQ describes the free plan's volume as "a set number" or "a limited number" of applications without giving the exact figure on the page.
- Paid plans (Pro and Premium): from 9.99 euros per month. Paid plans unlock more applications, priority processing, advanced filters and AI CV checks. LoopCV says Premium users can get applications to hundreds of matching roles per week.
- Cancellation and refunds: cancel any time and keep access until the end of the billing period. Refunds are offered within 7 days of purchase if you have used no more than 10% of your plan's quota.
- Student discount: LoopCV runs a student discount program.
The exact price of each paid tier was not shown on the page we read, so check the plan screen before you upgrade.
Where LoopCV is strong
LoopCV does several things better than we do, and for some people it is the right pick.
- A real free plan. You can try automatic applying without paying. Applyinator has no free plan.
- Low starting price. Paid plans start under ten euros a month, and there is a student discount.
- Job boards and recruiter email. If your target roles are mostly posted on job boards, or you like reaching recruiters directly by email, LoopCV is built for that. Applyinator focuses on company career portals and never sends email as you.
- CV experiments. A/B testing CVs is a smart way to learn which version gets responses.
- International reach. LoopCV is based in Europe and offers its site in many languages, which can help if you are searching outside the US.
- Friendly refund terms. A 7-day refund window (within the usage limit) lowers the risk of trying a paid plan.
Where it may fall short
Some things to think about before choosing LoopCV:
- Volume versus fit. A tool that applies to hundreds of roles a week across 30+ boards needs tight filters to stay relevant. Set them carefully, and read how many applications it takes to get an interview for realistic numbers.
- Email outreach in your name. Automated recruiter emails can work, but generic messages are easy to spot. LoopCV says you can edit messages before they are sent; we would do that.
- Sensitive questions. We did not find a clear description of what LoopCV does when an application form asks about work authorization, sponsorship or other legal topics you have not answered. Ask before relying on full automation.
- Free plan limits are not spelled out. The pricing page describes the free allowance in general terms only.
How Applyinator differs
Applyinator takes a narrower, portal-first approach.
What it does:
- It is a hosted service with no extension to keep open. It watches company career boards on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Recruitee, iCIMS and Oracle, plus public job feeds.
- It finds new postings that match your roles, cities, level and graduation timing, and submits the application in a real browser, picking the right one of the resumes you uploaded.
- It creates Workday and other portal accounts as needed and reads verification codes from your connected inbox (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo or iCloud, signed in once). It only reads verification mail and never sends anything.
- It never guesses legal, immigration, sponsorship, clearance, citizenship, criminal history or EEO answers. Unanswered questions wait for you under "Needs you"; you answer once and it is reused.
- It reads the form back before submitting and stops if something looks wrong.
- It applies at most three times per company per 30 days and never to the same job twice, even if the same posting shows up on two sites.
- Auto-apply mode or review mode, where you approve each filled application. An in-app assistant named Perry helps set up your profile.
What it does not do:
- No free plan.
- No resume rewriting or tailoring, and no cover letters or essays written from scratch.
- No recruiter emails, no LinkedIn login and no messages sent as you, so no LinkedIn Easy Apply.
- No general job-board mass applying; it works on company portals and public feeds.
Pricing: $10 per week, $30 per month, or $100 once for Lifetime (limited spots). All plans include unlimited applications. Payments are final; weekly and monthly switches are prorated.
Applyinator suits students, new grads and early-career people applying to many company-site postings, especially Workday-heavy employers. Our guides to how Workday applications work and Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby applications explain those portals in detail.
Other alternatives worth a look
- Best auto-apply tools for the full category.
- JobCopilot alternatives for a tool focused on company career pages with resume tailoring.
- Massive alternatives and JobHire alternatives for hosted services that also write cover letters.
- Sonara alternatives and AIApply alternatives for more options.
- Teal alternatives and Huntr alternatives if you mainly want tracking and resume tools rather than automation.
How to choose
- Where do your target employers post? Job boards point toward LoopCV; company portals like Workday point toward a portal-focused tool.
- Do you need a free tier? If budget is the deciding factor, LoopCV's free plan wins.
- Do you want email outreach? If yes, LoopCV offers it. If you never want a tool to email anyone as you, look elsewhere.
- How does it handle questions it does not know? It should wait for you, not guess. See how to answer common application questions.
- Is there a per-company cap and dedupe? Both protect your reputation with employers.
- Can you review first? Use review mode for the first week with any tool.
- Can you see everything it sent? Keep a log; our guide to tracking job applications shows how.
Bottom line
LoopCV is a strong choice if you want a free or inexpensive way to apply across many job boards, like the idea of recruiter emails, and want to experiment with different CVs. Applyinator is a better fit if your targets live on company portals such as Workday, Greenhouse and Lever, you want a tool that handles portal accounts and email codes for you, and you want sensitive questions left in your hands. If that matches your search, you can create an account.
